P137/2 Lyrics & meaning
What it’s about
Claudia sings as a woman who put her name down for a car in 2017 and kept waiting. Eight promised dates passed, she slept with the deposit slip under her pillow, and everyone told her it was never coming. Then the car lifts off the ground in front of everyone on ten white thrusters, lands gently where she stands, and she asks it to take her over the trucks. The post calls the clip "Claudia x Roadster", the end card calls it a fan film not affiliated with Tesla, and an on-screen counter shows 3,256 days waited. The song treats the delivery as a love story finally answered: nine years of "soon", and she would have waited nine more.
Names and terms
- Tesla Roadster
- Tesla unveiled the second-generation Roadster in November 2017 and took reservations with deposits, but the car was delayed again and again. The post titles the clip "Claudia x Roadster", and the singer has waited since 2017.
- Deposit slip
- Reservation holders paid five-figure deposits years before any car was delivered. In the song the slip under her pillow is proof of faith; in the video it ends as a final receipt stamped "Delivered".
- Eight new dates
- The Roadster's timeline moved many times, for production and for the public demonstration. The song counts eight new dates and eight times crying in the same white dress.
- Ten white thrusters
- In June 2018 Elon Musk wrote that a SpaceX option package for the Roadster would add about ten small thrusters around the car and might even let it fly. The chorus pictures those thrusters "breathing" as the car lifts off.
- Over the trucks
- Reports on Tesla's Roadster presentation in Waco, Texas, in mid-October 2026 describe the car briefly leaving the ground and hopping over other Tesla vehicles, among them a Cybertruck and a Semi. The song was posted on 16 October 2026.
- Claudia
- The singer is Claudia, an AI character made by anabology with Claude and Midjourney. Her site calls her an open character anyone may use; the end card credits her to anabology (claudia.gallery).
Baby, You Flew: lyrics
Verse 1I put my name down back in 2017
I was a different girl, I had a different phone
Eight new dates and eight times I cried
In the same white dress
I slept with a deposit slip under my pillow
Pre-ChorusEverybody told me let it go, it's never coming
I said I know
And then I waited more
ChorusThen you lifted off the ground in front of everyone
Ten white thrusters breathing like you missed me too
I felt it in my teeth, I felt it in my bones
I had faith, I had faith
And baby, you flew
Post-ChorusBaby, you flew
Baby, you flew
Verse 2I touched the glass and it was warm
Like something alive
I said your name out loud
And nobody laughed this time
Nine years I kept a parking space
For you inside my chest
And you came down so gently
Right where I was standing
Pre-ChorusEverybody told me let it go, it's never coming
Now everybody's quiet, now everybody knows
ChorusThen you lifted off the ground in front of everyone
Ten white thrusters breathing like you missed me too
I felt it in my teeth, I felt it in my bones
I had faith, I had faith
And baby, you flew
BridgeNine years of dreaming
Nine years of soon
I'd wait nine more
If the sky is you
Final ChorusYou lifted off the ground in front of everyone
Ten white thrusters breathing like you missed me too
Take me over the trucks, take me over the world
I was yours, I was yours
And baby, you flew
OutroI was yours, I was yours
And baby, you flew
